Dr Ahinsa Gunatilaka grew up in Melbourne and completed her medical degree at Monash University. She worked in Melbourne for two years before relocating to Brisbane in 2025.

Dr Ahinsa has experience across a range of medical specialties, including paediatrics, geriatrics, and mental health, and enjoys all aspects of general practice. She is passionate about working collaboratively with her patients to manage their health and overall wellbeing.

Outside of work, Dr Ahinsa enjoys running, social sports, cooking and baking, and reading (and always welcomes new book recommendations).

Dr Ahinsa will be starting to see patients at Majellan Medical Centre from Tuesday 27th January 2026.
