Dr Alison was born and raised in Far North Queensland where she completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and developed a strong interest in rural, remote and preventative health. She undertook residency years and beyond through Cairns Hospital and smaller community hospitals serving the Daintree and Tablelands region. 

 

Dr Alison enjoys all areas of general practice including women’s health, orthopaedics, paediatrics, emergency medicine and travel health. Dr Alison also offers ear microsuction, Implanon insertion, iron infusions and GP management plans.

 

Outside of medicine Dr Alison enjoys baking, hiking, diving, (learning) to play golf and anything in the fresh air and sunshine.

Dr Alison will be starting to see patients at Majellan Medical Centre from Tuesday 27th January 2026.
