Dr. Margaret McCarthy

Dr Margaret McCarthy has been practicing medicine in Brisbane since completing her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Far North Queensland. She has completed work both in Metropolitan Tertiary Hospitals as well as Rural Outreach Programs. She has worked in Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Rehabilitation in Brisbane’s Metro North and Redcliffe Hospital. She has completed her Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) and during her time at Redcliffe Hospital won an award for clinical excellence for an Emergency Medicine Research Audit.

She has a focus in Preventative and Lifestyle Medicine, Antenatal care, Menopause management and Paediatric Primary Care.
